metalweb has offered its first ‘on-the-job’ learning and development programme, focusing on Business Improvement Techniques (“B-iT”), for Birmingham-based employees. The programme will focus on Business Improvement Techniques (“B-iT”) and covers areas such as; workplace organisation (5S), Kaizen (continuous improvement), problem solving (8D) and Health & Safety.
metalweb prides itself on ensuring staff have the correct and most up to date skills to carry out their day to day job, and ensure that these are developed wherever possible. The training also supports metalweb’s operational strategy of implementing lean manufacturing tools into the workplace, meaning metalweb is able to preserve value with less work.
